Community Organizations

Keeping Grimshaw a healthy, active community loaded with things to do is a difficult task. We're fortunate to have a terrific network or community organizations who provide artistic, academic and athletic opportunities to citizens.

Grimshaw Municipal Library

Open to Everyone! A busy municipal library that also provides services to the Grimshaw Public School and Holy Family School. The library is staffed with knowledgeable and caring professionals who offer access to materials from all over the province with a TRAC card, plus programming for all ages and interests. The Grimshaw Municipal Library is located at 4412A-50th Street in Grimshaw, attached to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex. Chamber of Commerce

The Grimshaw and District Chamber of Commerce prides itself on working together as a team to build a better and more effective business community. They host professional development opportunities, promote and celebrate businesses, and are the overarching organizers of the annual Harvest Moon Festival. They also host annual business awards, BAH HUMBUG Christmas Promotion, the Polar Express Christmas Lightup and provide welcome packages for new residents.

Holy Family School

Also located in the Shared School Facility, Holy Family School is a catholic K-9 school. Mission: To enable students to maximize their potential while enriching their relationship with Christ. Philosophy: At Holy Family Catholic School, we respect all people and property as well as foster an environment of acceptance, belonging, safety, security, and student success. We are responsible citizens whose lives reflect Christian faith and spirituality. Within this positive atmosphere, students will have the opportunity to engage in a rich variety of educational experiences and become successful lifelong learners. The Multiplex includes a library, fieldhouse, arena, walking track and fitness center. The outdoor pool, splash park, and outdoor skating rink are within walking distance.

Located in the Shared School Facility, Grimshaw Public is a K-12 school. Vision: A welcoming environment where all students discover success! Resource Center for Suicide Prevention - North Branch

The Vision of the Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention is to promote mental well-being, raises awareness, eliminate stigma, and educate to reduce suicide, suicidal behaviors and their impacts. They have a women's group, grief and loss groups and ongoing community initiatives.

Lac Cardinal Pioneer Village Museum

The Lac Cardinal Pioneer Village Museum is representative of life in the 1920s to 1940s. The Village includes an authentic farm site with antique equipment, furnished houses, hall, bakery, Municipal Office, church, school, blacksmith shop, general store and a fire hall. A replica train station serves as the main office and gift shop. Amenities include: Wheelchair accessible public washrooms, guided tours, gift shop, camping.
