Candidates Running for Office

As required by the Local Authorities Election Act, the Town of Grimshaw maintains a public register of individuals who have filed a Notice of Intent to Run in the upcoming general election. This register will be accessible on the Town’s website until December 31, 2025.

Below is the updated list of candidates who have submitted their Notice of Intent to Run or Nomination Papers to the Returning Officer. 

 

The official list of candidates for the 2025 Municipal Election in the Town of Grimshaw will be finalized at 12 p.m. (noon) on September 23, 2025. Those seeking public office formally declare their intentions to run by filing their nomination papers by Nomination Day (September 22, 2025). Candidates are running for the offices of Mayor and Councillor.
