Alberta Pond Hockey Championships

The 2025 Alberta Pond Hockey Championships at Lac Cardinal kick off TOMORROW (Friday, March 7, 2025) afternoon!

Here’s the schedule:

🏒 Friday, March 7
Opening Ceremony at 2:45 pm
Games start at 2 pm and run until 5:30 pm

🥞 Saturday, March 8
Start your day with Pancake Breakfast (8:30-11 pm at the Grimshaw Legion), followed by Adult Games from 11 am - 4:30 pm at Lac Cardinal. Celebrate at the Pond Hockey Gala (Doors open at 7 pm at Mile Zero Regional Multiplex) and take in the fireworks at 7:30 pm at the Ball Diamonds east of the Multiplex.

🏆 Sunday, March 9
Adult Playoffs start at 10 am, followed by Junior Hockey & Sledge Hockey at 11 am. The Consolation Final is at 3 pm, the Closing Ceremonies at 3:45 pm, and the Championship Final at 4 pm. 🍻

There will be tasty food services and a Beer Garden all weekend, plus Tim Hortons Peace River is providing free hot chocolate & coffee!! See the full schedule & get tickets at www.albertapondhockey.com
