After-Hours Disturbances
If you're experiencing noise disturbances or suspicious activity after hours — such as loud vehicles, gatherings in parking lots, or other disruptive behaviour — please report it directly to the RCMP. Our Bylaw Officer is not equipped to run license plates or pursue individuals and cannot respond to incidents involving vehicles or suspects.
Bylaw Officers strive to maintain peace and order while enforcing municipal regulations, responding to concerns and supporting a safe environment. However, the authority of the Bylaw Officer is limited to municipal bylaws. Dealing with escalating issues in the community—especially when individuals are acting unpredictably or dangerously—is the responsibility of the RCMP.
We understand that it can be frustrating if police don’t immediately respond, but it’s still critical that all incidents are reported by calling 911. Thank you for your patience and support.
