What ID is accepted?
There are two scenarios that will determine what ID you need in order to vote:
Registered voters are required to show valid government-issued identification containing, at minimum, the voter's photograph and name.
Non-registered voters are required to validate their ID by providing one of the following:

One piece of government-issued identification containing the voter's photograph, name and current address; or

One piece of identification containing the voter's name and current address.
Those unable to produce identification set out above may have a registered voter vouch for them. Learn more about vouching in a FAQ listed below.
