Grimshaw Municipal Library

Library Manager, Vivianne Gayton, brought forward a presentation about the Grimshaw Municipal Library, provided updates on the library, and answered questions presented by the Council.

Lac Cardinal Economic Development

EDO, Misty Velichka, presented information on the Enabling Housing Choice North Project in the Lac Cardinal Country and answered questions presented by the Council.

Request for Increased Support for the 6th Annual Harvest Moon Festival

Council moved to donate $7000 to the 6^th Annual Harvest Moon Festival.

Grimshaw Regional Healthcare Attraction & Retention Increase Funding Request

Council moved to increase funding for the Grimshaw Regional Healthcare Attraction and Retention Committee as requested.

Request for Decision - 2026 Interim Operating and Capital Budget

Council approved the Interim Budget, which will be used by Administration until the final budget is passed in early 2026.

 

Public Hearings Hosted by the Electoral Boundary Commission

Council supported that Mayor Messner will present on behalf of Council at the Electoral Boundary Commission hearing.
