March Volunteers of the Month
We are excited to recognize Ken and Danielle McKenzie as our March Volunteers of the Month! 🌟 For an incredible 30 years, they have devoted their time and compassion to supporting their community in countless ways. Ken and Danielle have volunteered with the Period Pantry, St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, and the local Food Bank, as well as delivering food to those who need it most. Danielle also served as Secretary for the Food Bank, further contributing to the organization’s impact. Their inspiration comes from Berwyn resident Rod Crumb, a deeply generous man who always ensured others had what they needed. Along with his example, their faith continues to guide them in their commitment to helping others. When asked what they enjoy most about volunteering, they shared that it’s the appreciation and the ability to see the difference being made in someone’s life. Their message to future volunteers is simple but powerful: “Do what you can. Don’t give up, it’s rewarding.” THANK YOU both for everything you do and for your decades of dedication and service to our community!
