April Volunteer of the Month
We are pleased to recognize Barb Elder as our April Volunteer of the Month!
Barb has been volunteering in our community for more than seven years, generously giving her time and energy to several organizations, including the Ladies Auxiliary, the Legion, coaching at the Curling Club, and supporting the Resource Centre for Suicide Prevention.
Inspired by her parents, Barb says her favorite part of volunteering is seeing people smile, knowing people feel satisfied, and witnessing the strong support within our community.
Her words of wisdom for future volunteers are simple and meaningful, "Show up. Be there. The community is waiting for you."
