Council Meeting Highlights - August 26, 2026

Here are the highlights from the August 26, Council Meeting:

• Council directed Mayor Messner and Councilor Florence to take the Council recommendations to Alberta Municipalities' Resolution session at their Convention and Trade Show from September 23 to 25, 2026.

• Council reviewed the draft budget for RCMP, Fire, and Disaster.

• Council reviewed the Peace River Detachment Community Policing Report for Q1 (April to June), sent in by S/Sgt. Lacey Blair, Detachment Commander.

The next Regular Council Meeting will be September 9, in the Council Chambers. Council would like to welcome residents to attend and view in person. If you wish to speak to our Councilors, please send a written request to CAO@grimshaw.ca and we will add you to the next available agenda.
