Canada Day Celebrations

Canada Day "Neighbours Together" - come Celebrate Canada Day in Grimshaw on July 1, 2026!

Canada Day brings residents together in a positive, welcoming environment where individuals and families can connect with others, reducing social isolation and strengthening community ties. Social connection is a key protective factor that supports mental well-being and community resilience.

Canada Day Parade - 12:00 noon the parade route is running rom the north end of Main Street going south on 50th street to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex.

Canada Day Festivities - 12:30 to 3:00 pm.

Join us for the following festivities in the parking lot at the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex:

  • The Tipsy Burro
  • Live Music by George Brothers & They Call Me SIR
  • 3 Bouncy Castles, a Foam Pit & Cannon, Bucket Golf, Basketball minigame from New Gen Entertainment
  • Room 27 – Children’s Game Stations
  • Sparkle Tattoos by Nicole Sparshu
  • Vintage Acres Popcorn Company (kettle roasted flavored popcorn)
  • Step Up Eatery and 3 Food Trucks will be set up on site
  • Open Air Market (Grimshaw & District Chamber of Commerce)
  • Cotton Candy by Kotton Kandy Co.

Canada Day Free Swim - 3:00 to 5:00 pm at the Grimshaw Outdoor Swimming Pool
