Enhanced Accessibility at the Grimshaw Outdoor Swimming Pool

The Town of Grimshaw Community Services Department is excited to announce the purchase of a Mighty Voyager Pool Lift for the Grimshaw Outdoor Swimming Pool, made possible with a financial donation from Canadian Natural Resources.

The Mighty Voyager Lift is a portable accessibility lift which is designed to provide safe and reliable access into our pool. This lift will help remove barriers and improve access for individuals with mobility challenges, ensuring more residents and visitors can enjoy the benefits of our amazing outdoor swimming pool. 

The addition of this pool lift reflects on the town’s commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and creating welcoming spaces where all individuals can participate and thrive.  This new accessibility feature will provide enhanced opportunities for recreation, wellness, physical activity, and social connection for individuals who may have previously experienced barriers to accessing the outdoor swimming pool.
