Council Meeting Highlights - April 22, 2026

Here are the Council Meeting highlights from the April 22 meeting:

• Trustee John Willemsen, Superintendent Victoria Cornick, and Deputy Superintendent Lauri Goudreault of Holy Family Catholic Regional Division provided Council with an overview of schools within the division and reviewed the Traffic Safety Report prepared for Holy Family School in Grimshaw.
• Council approved the 2026 Financial Statements following a presentation by Brandon Gagnon, Senior Manager with MNP.
• Kaleena Riewe, President of Grimshaw Minor Soccer, and Kevin Riewe, Secretary, provided Council with an update on the organization, including current registration numbers and plans for the upcoming season.
• Council approved the funding request from Peace Regional Energy Alliance for $1,000.
• The third and final reading of Bylaw No. 1218 Tax Rate Bylaw was approved by Council.
