Meet our Partner: ATCO Community Energy Fund

The Town of Grimshaw has received $7,650 from the ATCO Community Energy Fund. This funding will directly support our Town of Grimshaw Gymnasium LED Lighting Upgrade that will help us achieve our goals of replacing existing gymnasium lighting with modern, energy-efficient LED fixtures. The project will improve visibility and facility performance while reducing electricity consumption and long-term maintenance costs for this important community recreation space.

Through the Community Energy Fund, ATCO provides funding to municipalities, schools, non-profit organizations, and registered charities pursuing community energy projects that contribute to a more sustainable future. In 2026, ATCO is distributing $250,000 to support eligible projects across its Alberta service territory, including renewable energy solutions, energy efficiency initiatives, educational programs, and other lower-emitting technologies.

We are honoured to have been selected for this funding and grateful for ATCO's investment in our community and our project.
