Bylaw Enforcement

The Town of Grimshaw has signed a trial one-year agreement with Integrated Municipal Support (IMS) to provide enhanced bylaw enforcement and community support services for residents.

IMS will be working directly out of the Grimshaw Town Office. IMS will enforce municipal bylaws through proactive patrols, animal control services, and complaint response during contracted hours. Scheduling will be based on the operational needs of the community. While daily hours may vary, IMS will maintain a total of forty hours of service per week. Animal control requests will be responded to as required, including after-hours incidents when necessary.

IMS is a division of Apex Security, established to help municipalities overcome recruitment and retention challenges while delivering consistent, professional bylaw enforcement and municipal support services. IMS was developed to provide the resources, experience, and operational support municipalities need to succeed.
