National Volunteer Week Celebration

April 23 to 29, 2017

The work of volunteers is essential and the Town of Grimshaw is joining over 150 other communities around Alberta to pay tribute to our community and area volunteers who graciously donate their time and energy.

National Volunteer Week is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out ways to engage in our community and area.

It is our time…. to recognize, celebrate and thank our volunteers by inviting everyone to the following FREE activities:

Monday, April 24th:

Kick start this wonderful week by attending a Soup & Bun Luncheon at the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex.  C-Ken’s Concession will be serving lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Tuesday, April 25th:

Stop by Grimshaw Super A Foods from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a Coffee & Cookie

Wednesday, April 26th:

In recognition of National Volunteer Week, you are invited to the Mile Zero Regional Multiplex for Free Access to the Field House, Northern Air Walking Track & Les Shaw Fitness Centre from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.  

Thursday, April 27th:

Join the Grimshaw Municipal Library for Volunteer Appreciation Day. 

 Activities will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

All our activities are open to all members of the community and area, so come out and participate!
